Keepsake Elephant

Description

This is a beautiful handmade elephant made from sentimental clothing. A lovely keepsake item for yourself or for a loved one.

All your items will be treated with the utmost respect, as I understand how precious they are to you.

I can create a memory/keepsake elephant from most fabrics/garments. Such as baby clothes, shirts, t-shirts, fleece material, most knitwear. But  I am unable to accept certain light weight fabrics such as silk or chiffon and heavy weight fabrics like leather or chunky knitwear. If unsure please contact me before sending your items.

• If sending baby clothes I’d recommend sending 6+ items. If sending adult clothes I’d recommend 1-3 items.
• Each elephant measures approx 27cm in height.
• Machine embroidered personalisation can be added

How it works:

• After you have placed your order, I will contact you with my address for you to send me your items and to discuss any design requirements, such as placement of certain clothing.
• Once I have received your items, I will contact you to let you know they have arrived safely.
• Each elephant takes approximately 8 weeks. I will then send your elephant back via Royal Mail 48Tracked delivery.

Extra Details:

• These memory/keepsake elephants are not toys, as they cannot be CE tested. They are for display purposes only.
• They are stuffed with hollow fibre polyester stuffing.
• I use safety toy eyes – or I can embroider eyes if requested.
• If weighted, I use clean steel weighting. Max 9lbs

As each keepsake is made from items of clothing that have been worn, washed and tumble dried, the clothing is not as strong as it once was, therefore extra care is needed when handling your keepsake. If you need to wash your keepsake, I would recommend wiping with a damp cloth.
