Keepsake Unicorn

Description

This is a beautiful handmade unicorn made from sentimental clothing. A lovely keepsake item for yourself or for a loved one.

All your items will be treated with the utmost respect, as I understand how precious they are to you.

I can create a memory/keepsake unicorn from most fabrics/garments. Such as baby clothes, shirts, t-shirts, fleece material, most knitwear. But  I am unable to accept certain light weight fabrics such as silk or chiffon and heavy weight fabrics like leather or chunky knitwear. If unsure please contact me before sending your items.

• If sending baby clothes I’d recommend sending 8+ items. If sending adult clothes I’d recommend 1-3 items.
• Each unicorn measures approx 35cm in height.
• Each unicorn will come with a tutu (which is removable).
• Machine embroidered personalisation can be added.
• Unicorns can also be birth weighted. Max 9lbs.

How it works:

• After you have placed your order, I will contact you with my address for you to send me your items and to discuss any design requirements, such as placement of certain clothing.
• Once I have received your items, I will contact you to let you know they have arrived safely.
• Each unicorn takes approximately 8 weeks. I will then send your keepsake back via Royal Mail Tracked48.

Extra Details:

• These memory/keepsake unicorns are not toys, as they cannot be CE tested. They are for display purposes only.
• They are stuffed with hollow fibre polyester stuffing.
• I use safety toy eyes – or I can embroider eyes if requested.
• The arms and legs are secured in place with safety joints and then buttons are also sewn on.
• If weighted, I use clean steel shot weighting.

As each keepsake is made from items of clothing that have been worn, washed and tumble dried, the clothing is not as strong as it once was, therefore extra care is needed when handling your keepsake. If you need to wash your keepsake, I would recommend wiping with a damp cloth.
